Fast Solution to Error: Acer Aspire 5534 problem: When I plugged in my laptop yesterday it told me that it was plugged in, but not charging

Acer Aspire 5534 problem: When I plugged in my laptop yesterday it told me that it was plugged in, but not charging

When I plugged in my laptop yesterday it told me that it was plugged in, but not charging.  The light was blinking like it does whenever the battery needs to be charged.  I then restarted it and the light was still blinking and it said that it was still
not charging.  I then tried taking out the battery after I had shut it down and putting it back in again.  That didn't work either.  Then my laptop turned off.  When I started it up again, it started up as if I had shut it down.  Then it shut off again.  I
think it has something to do with the fan because I'm almost positive that it needs to be replaced because it sometimes starts making this loud noise, but it doesn't always make that noise.  I don't know much about computers or laptops and I just want to be
sure that the fan is the problem before I go off and have it repaired.  Thanks in advance.
